  • 30 g desiccated coconut (plus extra for rolling)
  • 2 tbsp cocoa powder
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • Pinch of salt

Instructions

  1. Prepare Dates: If the dates are not soft, soak them in warm water for 10 minutes and then drain well.
  2. Blend Ingredients: In a food processor, combine the dates, rolled oats, almond butter, chopped Vegan Organic 77% Cocoa Bar with Orange Oil, chia seeds, desiccated coconut, cocoa powder, vanilla extract, and a pinch of salt. Process until the mixture is well combined and forms a sticky dough.
  3. Form Balls: Scoop out small amounts of the mixture and roll them into balls (about 2.5 cm in diameter).
  4. Coat in Coconut: Roll each ball in extra desiccated coconut to coat the outside.
  5. Chill: Place the energy balls in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes to firm up before serving.
